Kosuke Fukudome Biography

Kosuke Fukudome is a dangerous 6 foot 187 pound player. He came out of high school. In 2003 in the mlb, Fukudome hit .313/.401/.604 – he led the Central in on base percentage, he also led in total runs and triples. He was in second andleading behind alex remirez, second in walks, third in rbi’s, and hit 34 total homeruns and reached double digits in every single base hit you can get, which is really surprising and amazing. In 2007, Fukudome was suffering with a right elbow injury. He was leading in hitting and on base percentage as well at the time but due to the injury, it kept him back. He needed to remove bone fragments from his elbow which what led him out on the disabled list, (DL) and kept him from playing. In december, Fukudome signed a HUGE contract with the cubs that involved 48$ million dollars for 4 years with the Chicago Cubs. He had a excellent major league debut and still is doing very well to this day and age, and only had 3 runs of the cubs had on the loss to the brewers 4-3 on the opening game.
